Abstract:   (12018 Views)
Generally, the particles start moving caused by force of surface water flow stress which driven by the rainfall. Rills start to appear when the erosivity of the overland flow surpasses the resistance of the soil to detachment, expanding of them will depend on to parameters such as, water shear force (flow shear stress) and soil resistance. Furthermore shear stress requirement for detachment is function of runoff rate, slope steepness, and hydraulic characteristics of the surface. The aim to carry out this research was better intelligence of process rill formation, so that assessment of affect rainfall and hillslope varieties on flow shears stress and soil loss on Gy1 Marl Formation of Taleghan Basin. This research carries out in two different slopes and three rainfall intensities of critical, in the Institute of Soil Conservation and Watershed Management. Finally flow shear stress was determined from 0.21 to 1.38 Pa. Also statistically, effect of slope, rainfall intensity factors and interaction effect of them in shear stress and soil loss values, were significant to 0.01 levels. The distance from the top of the slope to the point of rills formation have exponent related and decreases with increase in slope and rainfall intensity. Finally is estimated soil loss average of rainfall intensities 10, 55 and 110 (mm/h), amount of 0.45, 7.3 and 25.6 Kg, respectively. Thus, similarly both factors, on the values of shear stress and soil loss, separately and combined have interactions.
